Situated in West Mersea, ‘Lovely Surprise’ is a large beach hut (10 x 8 ft) with an even larger raised and enclosed decking
area (12 x 8 ft).
The hut is in a sheltered and more private second row position offering grand sea views.
The sand directly in front of the hut is great for kids of any age to build their castles high or tunnels deep - careful adults may be asked to help!
Approximately 50 metres along the beach is the charming ‘Two Sugars’ cafe, shop and ice cream kiosk. And just beside this is a children’s playpark, car parks, public toilets and water tap.
An escape to Mersea Island, with its stunningly beautiful coastal scenery, offers an abundance of attractions including some nationally renowned seafood restaurants. The island is accessed by a beautiful causeway which, during the occasional high tide, briefly makes Mersea a true island retreat.
